How Can I Know?

Once, a dear loved one asked me: "How can we know what's in the Bible is really true?" It was a totally valid question. I shared my thoughts back then, and it seemed to resonate with their curious mind. Since that moment, I've been reflecting on how to dive deeper into this question for others. There are plenty of reasons to believe that having faith in God, in Jesus Christ—the Son of God—and His teachings isn't just a random leap of faith.
As we navigate our spiritual paths, here are two questions worth exploring:
Is There Such a Thing as Unchanging, Objective TRUTH?
How can we be sure?
To satisfactorily answer these questions, we must examine the evidence. But,
before we do, let me say that we all have free will. We can choose to believe the evidence or not.... But we owe it to ourselves to at least consider it.
"Why should I consider and examine the evidence?"
A big reason is that the scriptures give us many promises regarding our lives. If we discover that the Bible is true, we can trust in & put our confidence in these promises and its entire message.
One of the promises is: "You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
- John 8:32 (HCSB).
Another promise is: "Come to Me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."- Matthew 11:28 (HCSB)
